Ms. Fard's 

In guitar class, students will learn how to use each string of the guitar to play rehearsed and improvised melodies of classical, rock, pop, country, blues, and hip hop selections. Exploration of lead, rhythm, and bass guitar will be achieved through practice, as well as exposure to a wide variety of guitarists of past and present. Students will learn to read and write music for guitar, ultimately determining what form of guitar literacy is best suited to their goals. Through solo, duo, and group practice, each student will determine the kind of guitarist they would like to be.
